Trust & Safety Coffee Chats are one-on-one conversations designed to provide mentorship to current and aspiring trust and safety professionals. Hosts are volunteering their time and expertise to offer advice to job seekers and T&S professionals.
How It Works:
Search for a host based on what you want to talk about.
Sign-up using the host’s “Schedule a chat” button.
Come prepared with questions and have a specific goal in mind.
Friendly Reminders:
Be respectful of our hosts and their time. If you book time with a host, please show up or cancel the booking in advance if the time no longer works for you.
The TSPA Code of Conduct applies to all resources, spaces, and programming, even if you’re not a TSPA member.
If you’re just getting started in T&S and want to learn more, we recommend reviewing Careers in T&S and the T&S Curriculumbefore scheduling.
Hosts are not conducting formal interviews, offering referrals, providing product feedback, participating in interviews and/or user research, and/or acting on behalf of their employers or TSPA. If you schedule time and you’re not a current or aspiring T&S professional, a host reserves the right to cancel the appointment without notice.
Double check the time zone when booking. Our hosts are located all over the globe.

He then spent some years doing external communication of the abuse guidelines and best practices for website owners, which allowed him to hone public-speaking, program management, and user feedback skills. Since 2020, Vincent has been focusing on T&S Partnerships, working with ecosystem representatives (private companies, NGOs, LEAs, and more) to protect users across the whole tech landscape.Read less

U.S. Coast Guard, working at the intersection of emerging technology, national security, and responsible AI governance. Over more than 15 years, I have worked on both sides of technology accountability—as a government oversight professional and as an operator in the technology industry. Before returning to federal service, I served as Principal of YWC Advisory, an independent practice focused on AI governance and platform integrity.
I spent more than 13 years in the federal government leading oversight of information technology, cybersecurity, defense, and national-security programs. I later held Trust & Safety and risk leadership roles at Google and X, where my work included online-safety regulation, policy and risk taxonomies, systemic-risk assessments, payments compliance, and X’s first independent audit under the EU Digital Services Act. Most recently, I worked as an AI Solution Architect within Teleperformance’s Trust & Safety practice. My broader expertise includes content moderation at scale, responsible AI, LLM-as-a-Judge accountability, deepfakes, identity verification, and agentic AI governance.
I enjoy mentoring people who are navigating career transitions, moving between government and industry, or building careers in Trust & Safety, technology policy, and responsible AI. I am based on the east coast and have significant experience with the tech industry churn, translating public-sector experience for industry roles, interviews/referral processes, tech regulation and Responsible AI, and am happy to offer practical guidance and advice. The views I share are my own and do not necessarily represent the U.S. Coast Guard or the U.S. government.Read less
