Global Compensation Survey for T&S Professionals

As a professional member association, we want to better understand the global compensation landscape for T&S practitioners so that we can create a resource that will help T&S professionals (like you!) understand the value of their professional expertise, providing context for salary negotiations and career decisions. In 2025, we published our first T&S Professionals Global Compensation Report and our aim is to field the Global Compensation Survey every two years to continue to gain insights on the landscape.

Thank you for your interest in contributing your insights for our second global compensation survey for trust and safety professionals. This survey closes September 20, 2026.

Note: Participation in this survey is voluntary and open to all trust and safety professionals, regardless of their affiliation with TSPA.

FAQs

Is the survey anonymous?

Yes, this survey is anonymous. The link above will redirect you to Survey Monkey.

Is the survey available in languages other than English?

Currently, the survey is available only in English. However, we are working to provide the survey in additional languages before it closes. If you have an interest in assisting with translation, please reach out to contact@tspa.org.

Can I take the survey if I’ve been laid off or am currently unemployed?

Yes, if you have been employed in T&S within the past 12 months, we welcome you to take the survey. IF you haven’t worked in T&S within that window, you are not eligible.

I’m not a T&S professional. Can I take the survey?

No, this survey is for T&S professionals only. See how we define T&S professionals here.

Why are there so many consent questions?

The survey includes four different consent questions because salary and compensation information is sensitive data, and legal compliance requires that you review and agree to several terms and policies.

What will TSPA do with the survey data?

Once the survey closes, the TSPA research team will analyze the data in Survey Monkey. We will then create a high-level report to share with TSPA members and the general public. Because we would like to collect longitudinal data, we will keep this year’s survey data for at least three years.

Can I get access to the survey data?

No, the survey data will not be made public or shared with anyone outside of the TSPA research team. However, we will share a high-level report, including a summary of findings, with TSPA members and the general public.

When will you share the findings with TSPA members?

We hope to share the findings with TSPA members in early to mid 2027. However, what is most important is that we leave the survey open long enough to gather enough meaningful data.

Will you share the findings with people who are not TSPA members?

Yes, we will share a high-level report via our website.

Will you conduct the survey again next year?

Yes, we plan to conduct this survey on an annual basis.

Whom do I contact if I have questions about the survey?

Please email contact@tspa.org.

Special thanks to our inaugural Compensation Survey Working Group members Stacey Colliver, Kendra Frost, Casey Ladisa, and Kenna Seagrist for sharing their time, experiences, and subject matter expertise. We’d also like to thank Liana Acosta, Reina Iguchi, Jess Kallberg, Ece Ozkan, and Lucia Stacey for their early feedback.
