TL:DR – It was a smashing success!
In the last week of September 2022, the Trust & Safety Professional Association hosted our inaugural conference, TrustCon 2022, the premier global conference dedicated to trust and safety professionals. Held in Palo Alto, CA, nearly 800 participants from over 200 companies and over 40 countries joined in-person and virtually for two full days of keynotes, workshops, presentations, and engaging networking opportunities.
TrustCon hosted over 30+ sessions for the in-person conference held September 27-28. Check out the In-person Agenda for additional information. The virtual program included three tracks with over 25 sessions for each region across 33 different time zones. The APAC region had over 70 attendees, the EMEA had over 90 attendees, and the North + South America region hosted over 300 attendees and represented 150+ companies. In-person attendees also were able to join community-led “Birds of a Feather” networking events that ranged from happy hours, to topical roundtables hosted by various companies like Twitch, ActiveFence, Unit21, and Cinder. By curating these spaces for community-building, attendees said that they “[felt] less alone by being around so many who understand the work we do.”

More than 85 presenters and panelists from 73 different companies, NGOs, and universities contributed to the thought leadership of this conference. On behalf of the Trust & Safety Professional Association, we thank all of the talented keynote speakers, experts, panelists, and presenters who invested their time and expertise to make this event an international success.
Putting on a conference of this magnitude requires the tireless dedication of TSPA staff, volunteers, advisors, and Working Groups. We deeply appreciate all of the time and work everyone put in to enrich TrustCon attendees’ experience and support the advancement of the trust and safety profession.
