The pandemic has pushed many of us to the limits of coping, across all areas of life; and whilst we are all living and learning as we go (as none of us have lived through a pandemic before!), we’ve all had to find ways to navigate these challenging times.
For trust and safety professionals, personal impacts of managing the effects of the pandemic are compounded by the challenging nature of our work — including new and increasingly more complex trust and safety issues, taking this very difficult work into our homes, and losing in-person peer support.
As we come to the end of 2021, we want to take some time to pause and reflect on our own wellbeing needs and give space to normalize the effects of the pandemic on our subsequent wellbeing, as well as re-align ourselves to what really matters to us in life.
