The digital landscape is transforming profoundly. A handful of technology companies now hold extraordinary power over how billions of people communicate, access information, participate in public life, and understand the world.
This one-day conference brings together researchers, technologists, journalists, policy professionals, and advocates working at the intersection of technology, democracy, human rights, law, and society.
Through panels, fireside conversations, and lightning talks, participants will examine how platforms, algorithmic systems, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies produce and amplify harm; surface evidence and perspectives from regions that remain underrepresented in global technology debates; and explore the legal, policy, technological, and advocacy responses that this moment demands.
