We are excited to announce that applications to become a TSPA advisor is now open. TSPA advisors support the work of TSPA by providing us with valuable advice, support, and engagement on our various projects, programs, and activities. TSPA advisors can work in trust and safety or in fields that are adjacent to trust and safety.
During this call for advisors, we are looking for:
- Someone who is passionate about professional development for trust and safety practitioners. Are you someone who has ideas around organizations, programs, or best practices that can foster growth within the T&S community. Will you enjoy championing our professional development initiatives?
- Someone who has a strong network and understanding of the APAC community and the needs of practitioners in APAC. Are you excited about providing advice on developing or modifying APAC-specific programs? Perhaps you’re someone who’d really enjoy hosting local in-person events or hosting virtual events within APAC-friendly times.
- Someone who can help TSPA develop stronger relationships with regional tech companies. Do you have relationships that you can leverage to support TSPA in expanding its network of corporate supporter companies and event sponsorships in EMEA and APAC?
- Someone with subject matter expertise in elections, misinformation, and violent extremism. Are you someone who not only is an expert on these issues but are willing to share that expertise with TSPA’s community in a variety of ways, including supporting our call for proposals, leading roundtable discussions, increasing community engagement and education, and sharing important updates with the field?
- Someone who enjoys engaging with community members online. Do you like fostering connections, driving conversations, and creating an inclusive environment where members feel encouraged to participate and collaborate? Perhaps you thrive on keeping discussions active and are excited to help cultivate a dynamic, supportive community?
- Someone who can be a cheerleader for TSPA and all-around support. Will you amplify TSPA’s events and activities through your own network? Are you keen on jumping in and helping out, whether it’s TSPA needing local advice or being an extra hand at a TSPA conference?
Please note that TSPA advisors applicants do not need to be current TSPA members; however if you are selected, you will need to become a TSPA member.
