The Race to Regulate AI: Global Comparative Perspectives

Hosted by Bonavero Institute of Human Rights

As AI systems have become increasingly ubiquitous, new regulatory models have begun to emerge at national, regional and international levels. There is general consensus that existing instruments are inadequate—but also considerable divergence on what new AI regulatory frameworks should look like.

This day-long high-level conference will explore AI regulation through a comparative lens, examining the extent to which existing and proposed approaches adequately address the risks and maximise the benefits of AI systems.
