This is the third event in a series of three and provides an introduction to Ofcom’s Draft Codes of Practice on Illegal Harms and how you can minimize the risk of illegal harm on your service.
During this session, Ofcom will explain the new safety duties for online services relating to illegal content, and introduce our draft codes of practice to help services comply with the new rules and protect users and explain our proposed approach to developing these codes. They will also explain the specific measures they are proposing to include in the codes, including measures relating to governance, content moderation, and features, functionalities and user tools.
