The Trust & Safety team is comprised of an elite group of policy gurus, critical thinkers, specialists, and admins, whose mandate is keeping our clients social media content compliant through crafting, debating, implementing, adjusting, and enforcing, content policy.

Role:

As a VACO SF Trust & Safety Team Lead, you will be the first point of contact responsible for team support, project management, data analysis and reporting for workflows reviewing sensitive escalated content within asked areas (social media content and comments) – ensuring the highest degree of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in terms of enforcement and other related workflows.

In addition, you will be responsible for carrying out other key policy operations functions, from working cross functionally to train and support associates and other teams within Trust & Safety and Policy Enforcement, to collaborating with other team members to drive impactful improvements in the team’s processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a high level of familiarity with client policy verticals which includes compliance guidelines for sensitive content
    • Responsible for workflows to ensure team success with ambitious core work targets
    • POC for teamwide support, escalations, scheduling, and communications
    • Coordinate and lead 1:1s, team meetings, team engagement, and workflow updates
    • Collaborate with leadership regarding documentation, policy, workflow, metrics, and performance for team members of your workflows
    • Manage project SLAs, identify and anticipate issues and negotiate resolutions
    • Identify any gaps (lack of resources, tools, etc.) and process improvement opportunities
    • Monitor and report on workflow targets, projects, and team engagement and wellbeing
    • Respond to additional requests and projects as needed

Requirements:

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
    • Strong understanding of professionalism, business standards, and client management
    • Proven time management, people management, and organizational skills
    • Demonstrable capacity for critical thinking, analysis, and attention to detail
    • Strong work ethic in both an individual and collaborative environment
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
    • Professional working proficiency in English
    • Experience with leadership, quality assurance, or project management
  • Experience in assigned workflow(s) is a plus
