TikTok’s US Safety team is dedicated to making TikTok safe for our users, viewers and content creators globally. TikTok is looking for an experienced Trainer to join the US Trust and Safety team. This role is responsible for creating and delivering training for TikTok content moderators across the globe. The trainer will work with subject matter experts and internal stakeholder to identify training needs and performance improvement challenges and address them through effective training solutions. The role will provide train-the-trainer sessions, facilitate learning events and organize instructor-led and e-learning activities. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver the policy training and present the updates to the moderators in a clear, professional and concise manner in both oral and written forms.
Responsibilities
– Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors’ training teams to create effective training solutions
– Deliver instructor-led training, conduct train-the-trainer sessions for multiple vendor sites
– Apply knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content and desired learning outcomes
– Create training plans and strategies utilizing various learning methodologies and technology (online live training sessions, safe-paces eLearning courses, online and blended learning solutions)
– Work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Collaborate with the policy team to understand and deliver policy updates, work closely with the quality team to identify struggling areas that should be addressed through learning solutions
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– 5+ years of practical experience in creating, developing and delivering training programs
– Knowledge and understanding of adult learning concepts and methods
– Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to independently manage multiple small to medium scale training projects from initiation to delivery
– Excellent written and oral communication, public speaking and presentation skills
– Ability to travel (30%) between our Mountain View and Los Angeles offices, while also visiting our global vendor partners occasionally
