Responsibilities
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. Trust & Safety team at TikTok is dedicated to building a safe environment for users to discover and create on TikTok, Helo and other ByteDance products. As a product manager on our Trust & Safety team, you will work with teams of engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies and various relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. You will be working on safety features, technical strategies to improve our trust and safety processes, as well methods to detect and address the risky behaviors and actors in the community. You will also work on project management to deliver major Trust and Safety product changes. Travel between our global offices is expected.
• Drive product strategy and build features and tools to support response to legal, law enforcement, regulation, compliance, privacy, related inquires and requests.
• Define product roadmap, set metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, work with the engineering team to implement product solutions.
• Develop a robust workflow for cross-team collaboration, manage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety
Qualifications
• 3 or more years of experience in product management in Consumer-Facing mobile or web Internet companies
• Experience and expertise in trust & safety, compliance, legal/law enforcement/privacy/regulatory and compliance reporting products and tools. • Ability to design product solutions based on evidence; proven track record of pushing ambitious products, and/or organizational or process changes
• Project management and communication skills, able to influence and unite cross-functional teams
• Experience in working with cross functional partners across different time zones, cultures and languages
• Understanding of the landscape and new policy developments in new media, tech, and the entertainment industry
• Data-sensitive, capable of in-depth data interpretation
