Crypto Scam Moderation and Advanced Fraud Detection

With the explosion in popularity of cryptocurrencies and related blockchain technologies like non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), there has been a huge uptick in associated scams. In this webinar, Spirit AI will provide an overview of how to spot this type of fraud and how to tell the difference between legitimate and misleading conversations. The Spirit AI team will demonstrate how they approach discovery of these behaviors on digital platforms by analzying a variety of message types, ranging from a few words to conversations spanning months. Their human-in-the-loop approach towards developing AI allows small operators to use their fraud detection techniques manually while also providing a platform for creating best-in-class automated systems for fraud detection at scale. Edward Minnett, Director of Product Development at Spirit AI
Edward oversees product development and sets the roadmap and priorities for both short term and long term value generation for Spirit AI’s customers. Prior to being responsible for all product development at Spirit AI, he worked as a software engineer for 12 years culminating in his role as the Lead AI Engineer for Spirit AI’s flagship Ally community understanding software.
Dr. Peter Passaro, Director of Data Science at Spirit AI
Peter leads the development of behavioural analysis systems, with a specialty in detecting and understanding toxic behaviour on digital platforms. He has an academic background in neuroscience, artificial intelligence as well as extensive experience designing and building linguistic behavioural analysis software platforms for startups and corporates.
